Sitting here thinking about today's busy schedule that kept me going most of the daylight hours and realized today, 8 years ago, my precious wife underwent quadruple bypass surgery.
I am so very thankful that God brought her through that dark place without any issues! I also reflect back on the prayers and kind words that came from some of you folks here on the Upper Room Forum. Thank you for going through that dark place with us!
So many times folks quote or recite the 23rd Psalm and never really understand the depth of the comfort that is there. Just to realize how verse 4 of that Psalm can speak to us is a great blessing.
There is a Southern gospel song that also speaks volumes to us believers, "I'm a winner either way if I go or if I stay...."!
Like I said, just sittin' here and reflecting on life.
