Dose anbody like Frost Knives??

Somebody obviously does, they sell them by the boat load.

I see a lot of kids carrying them. they use them for hammers screwdrivers and to trade back and forth among their buddies.

As my sons get older I may need a couple of hunderd of them to keep them away from my good knives.

TKC you hit the nail on the head, you can just walk by them in a display and glance and tell that they are cheap knives, I'd rather take my time and buy a quility knife, spend a few more dollars than buy a cheaply made knife were the blade might break when trying to cut something like butter

I was a professional cutlery dealer for more than 4yrs, and just recently closed my shop for educational reasons. During my time there, I bought and sold more Frost and it's licenced products than all other brands combined. It may be because they were cheaper than the rest, or my customers were satisfied with them, or any other reason you may think of. I only know this: I have carried a Frost Cutting Horse Stockman for nearly 5yrs and I trust this knife more than most I have ever owned. The blades are made in Soligen (the MOTHER CITY of German knives), stand up to anything I've ever thrown at them(I'm a robotic welding technitian/electrician), and I've never had a customer come back to me and tell me that Frost ever failed him or her. Say what you want about Jim Frost and his knives, but they are what they say they are:German steel blades, guaranteed for life, and built to work. No one can ask for more.

well, i agree with all of the comments. frost knives dont have much of a value when it comes to collectors, but they are good carrying knives in that they are cheaper than most and if you loose one, they arent very difficult to replace. as for the stealing of patterns.....well, they arent any different than any others makers if you look at rough rider, smith and wesson, colt, as well as the top makers such as boker, case, hen and rooster, etc. i mean they all make similar patterns. i use to set up at the local flea market and sold different brands and i also sold more frost than others....mostly because as stated before, they are cheaper, dependable, and good for carrying and some of them are attractive looking knives. anyway, just my opinion.
