All About Pocket Knives

Y’all think this is a canoe? Blade measures 4-1/2” handle from guard to end of pommel is 4”. Blade is noticeably thinner than a 5” ldeal.
I’m thinking this is the last model canoe made. Stamp is also different than what I’m used to. The marbles is more straight than roller coaster. I know it’s kind of in rough condition, but I got it because I thought it was a canoe, which I rarely run across. So what do y’all think? Would like others opinions. Some of the pics have the ideal for comparison.

It has the large pommel nut.

Not home right now so I can't really verify this, but I think the brass guard on Canoes is thicker than the guard on Ideals. Yours has the large pommel nut characteristically on M.S.A. Co. stamped knives, which isn't too abnormal because I happen to have one like that too on a stag Ideal. Could have been a transition period?

Early Ideal with a symmetrical pommel, well worn down. Canoes do not have thicker brass guards, the ricasso is wider than an Ideal.
