This knife is an accurate reproduction of a Saddle Knife made in late 1840's by Abraham Leon. The etchings on blade and brass are exactly as on the original knife. This style of knife was essential carry for the men who travelled into 'frontier territory'
Closed length is 5 5/8" and overall open length is 10".
The knife comes in a display box with eyelets on the back to hang on a wall. The knife is fully functional with good blade action and snaps and zero play.
Master is saber ground and edges of both blades are sharp.
This is a big strong and perfectly useable knife.
