Robeson Bone Pruner

Hello Robeson folks. I'M J.O'., a one week member of the AAPK site. You might enjoy this Pruner. It's 4-5/8" closed. The bones are very nice and it's in fine condition, walks and talks well, nice buttplate and rat tail bolsters with iron liners.
If you zoom in you can really see the hand work in the old rivets and pins. Amazing they could hammer them flat and not crack the bones!
I met an old timer Robeson collector at a show who told me a story about these bone-handled pruners. He said the salesmen would offer these fancy ones as a premium to foremen or farmers who ordered sufficient numbers of their standard, wood-handled pruners. Can't verify it but it's a nice story from a nice old guy at a knife show. Hope you enjoy seeing it. J.O.
