110LT Handle Logo Change?

I noticed a different logo on this 110LT. The one on the two I have (112LT and 110LT) is the shape like on the box, but this is plain text in a different field. Buck's website shows the standard logo like on the box. Plus, Buck's marked the price down to $20 from $32. To me, this points at a running change. Blade is marked for 2018, which kinda doesn't make since. My own 110LT has the standard logo, and it's also from 2018 (first run of SK Blades CPM-154 "Shield" knives).

The one in the picture is actually a Walmart exclusive. Over the years Buck has sold some of their knives at Walmart and other retailers (Academy Sports is another) that can only be found in their stores.

Let's hope that's the only reason it's different.

They're the same quality knives as all the other Buck's built at the same Post Falls factory. I think they just have a good relationship with Walmart. There have been quite a few really nice exclusives. These are a few I can remember:

Buck 112 Founder's Edition
Buck 110 Four Generations
Buck 715 (this was sort of like a folding Kalinga)
Buck 620 with rosewood scales
Buck 721 (sort of like the 722 Spitfire but different blade profile)
Buck 292 (with zytel handle)
Buck 110 LT (with enlarged logo)

When I look at the WallyWorld catalog image I don't see the official Buck date symbol on the tang, the OP's image seems to have it. Makes me wonder exactly what they are selling.
