A nice garage sale find, a Victorinox Electrician Plus. Did not know about these. I picked it up and it had a saw! When home I looked it up to find out what model it was. I found that it is discontinued and rare. I would like to find out about its production dates. Is this model valued same as a current model Vic Electrician ? Condition unused, no box or papers.
Thanks , Bert

I have never seen any Electrician Plus with the current production scales. Mostly with the old-style unpainted cross. But, they are known to exist; as model no. 53952. Value-wise, I don't know. I do know the standard Electrician Plus is valued quite a bit more. I paid nearly $50 for the Old Cross standard Electrician. New ones are under $30.

I have one of these Alox knives. I particularly like the Alox SAK with a saw blade because the Victorinox saw blades cut very well. They do not bind. Often one can cut through a stick or twig with less effort using a saw blade than using a regular knife edge blade.

Thanks for the replies, I think this is a good alternative to a leatherman for carry, much lighter. I’ve used my Vic soldier for years, The plus will be fun to try out. Saw & sheep's foot blade will be handy. Build quality still same as twenty year old Vic soldier.
