All About Pocket Knives

Anybody up for a game? I think we may have done something like this before, but as I was going through some knives tonight, I found an interesting one.

So pretty simple, share a pic or pics of a knife, (I guess we can show the blades too, just not the stamp), then you have to guess the maker. The first person to get it right gets to share the next mystery knife. (Only one mystery knife at a time please)

For now, let's keep it to fairly well known makers, no one-offs or obscure makers. If the guesses aren't getting anywhere, then hints are cool.

I'll get things started with this one. It's a whittler pattern. It has a rimmed liner, with what looks like some kind of gum fuddy synthetic material inset. The main was a bit tipped and reshaped, so there's nothing special about the blade.

I have seen this type of rimmed liner/gum fuddy construction before. If I remember correctly it was a KA-BAR. ???

I forget the term at the moment but it looks like a knife made for jewelers to put their own handles on.
Imperial started out making those jewelry type knives, I think one term was skeleton knives, I'm not sure though.
If it is gum fuddy and on the handles it would be an older knife.
Is it an Imperial?

It is not a "skeleton knife" or one made for jewelers to put their handles on. This type of scales was also used by quality companies, I have several KA-BARs with this construction. Glenn, we need better pics of the handle to ID by material. Looks to me like Robeson rough black, but a brighter photo would help.

I was going to guess Robeson but Gunsil beat me to it.

Due to the frame I was going to say Robeson, but looks like I'm wrong.

Robeson would be a good guess, as they did patent a nickel-silver wrap-around frame to secure handle scales, but a Robeson like that would not have those two handle pins, or four given there are two more on the back side.

So, I have no ideas.

The Winchester 2202 pattern had what they described as a “nickel silver turned edge” with fiber handles. Glenn’s is not a 2202. They also made a sleeve board lobster, pattern 3235 which was described as having a “Fibre stag handle with turned edge”. It’s not that either, but Winchester is my guess.
