Question for the experts.

Why is it that some of the GEC 061119 Crusader Acrylic's were released without the blade etching? Here is a pic of mine purchased brand new from a dealer and I know of one other.

Farthest thing from an expert here but I would guess that it was an error on the part of whoever was putting the etch on that day at the factory.

I have a 2007 GEC Schrade Cut. Co. that I purchased a few years ago that was NIB. It is supposed to have an etching on both blades, but mine doesn’t. I would assume that etching would be one of, if not, the final step in production. So, I don’t know.
