Lavana's Cut Co. - Romance of Knife Collecting Knife

Learn something new every day. I had no idea Lavona's Cut Co. ever existed until recently. Does anybody know who manufactured these knives? I've always enjoyed the Ferguson books. These knives are obviously associated and it looks to me like the accompanying letter was drafted by Mr. or Mrs. Ferguson given the writing style and the font (very similar to their books).
The knife I have here seems well built. I'd like to know who made it or any other info someone might have.

bryan, this is from a 1983 price guide by parker and voyles.
manufactured by alcas, similar to the case M1051L trailpacker, except it has a covered bridge stamped into the handle instesd of the case emblem.tang stamped Lavona's Cutlery.

The Ferguson books are very under appreciated by the newest generation of collectors. Too bad. Their loss.

Your right about the Fergueson Books on Case Knives Gr8Scout
I have a compete set and they come in handy when looking at the older knives

I agree 100%
I have a few of the Ferguson books. I need to get 'em all. Prices are usually very affordable.
