Hey crew.

Was wondering if I could kindly request a few comfort prayers for my whole family today.

The Lord call my baba (Dad's mom) home last night, it was time to go . Like we all know, it's very sad when we lose someone close to us, but happy at the same time, due to she didn't suffer any more (her health was slowly deteriorating these last 15 years or so). She lived a full 90 years, of the good, and the bad, up's and the down's.

We are very grateful/blessed that we had her near us, for so long (lived with us since '04, then moved on to the home in the fall of 2018).

She was, and is, a very loved lady by the whole family.

It is amazing to see a family member have such an extended life.
I know your Grandmother was always a positive influence and leader in your family. i'm sure she will be missed here on earth.

Heavenly Father,
Please comfort our brother and his family in this time of loss. Their loss is Your gain but that still leaves an empty chair here on earth. These are time when we take comfort in knowing that You are our Heavenly Father and that You have a place prepared for us when this life here on earth has ended.
Once chapter ends but another chapter begins in the book of our lives.
Thank you for all blessings Lord Jesus.

Willy, we'll be praying for you and your family as you get through this. We are always grieved when a loved one leaves us but we also remember what Paul wrote in 2 Cor. 5:8. We all take great comfort from such verses as this.

Willy, my prayers for you and your family for your comfort also for your peace.
You are certainly blessed to have her with you so long and to be so close to you. It's a great comfort to know that she is in the arms of the Lord. She is no longer pain or suffering but it is more alive than she has ever been in her entire life!

Billy Graham once said, "When you hear Billy Graham is dead, know that I will be more alive than I have ever been on this Earth!"

Prayers for you and the family. I was very close to my maternal grandparents, and not a day goes by that I don’t think about them, so I understand.

Remember the words of I Thessalonians 4:13-18

“But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
