Had a good day today knife shopping. picked up a nice little folder (see my other post) and these lovely old Skinner/Butcher knives. Thought you all might like a look! Top one is unmarked and 11" blade with a 5" grip. Next one down is a Taylors Eye Witness, with an 8" blade and 4 1/2" grip. Next has H & S Warranted Shear Steel on the 5 1/2" blade, attached to a 4 1/2" grip. Finally, is a Rodgers, 5 1/2" blade and a 4" grip.

Great score! I don't know why, but I never see kitchen knives at any secondhand stores .

I have never seen an Eye Witness kitchen knife that old. Seems today, their entire kitchen cutlery line is made in the Orient.

The Rodgers looks like a perfect size for belt carry and use.

Thanks for you appreciation guys; I found these at a 'Car boot fair', here in the UK, I suppose you'd say Car trunk fair! They're good places to find old stuff, in fact the vendor had some more in a box, so maybe I'll see if I can find him next week and buy the rest! ::tu::
