All About Pocket Knives

Came across this knife and not sure what it is. Can anyone help?

Made by Case as part of their “Family Brands” releases. Same as Case 6375 stockman pattern. A clearer, in-focus picture of the tang stamping would make it easier to tell what year it was made. From what I think I’m seeing I’d guess it’s from 2000. Since the original Kinfolks company made mighty few folders in only a few patterns when they were in existence I find it sort of humorous that Parker and then Case have made patterns with a Kinfolks mark that were never made by the original company.

Thank you very much mumbleypeg. I'll put a closer pic on here. I found a case knife still in the box in my grandfather's closet. He has passed away and this box had about an inch of dust on it. Lol. But inside was a brand new case knife. It does have some oxidation on it from the southern humidity but otherwise brand new. He has an identical one he carried in his pocket. It's about sharpened to oblivion but from what I can tell they r from 1974. Here r a couple of pics.

Having two knives from your grandfather is very special.
Can't really make out the tang stamp on the well used one. Just guessing it may be from the 1965-'69 era.
The new one shows 2 dots, this knife was made in 1978. Without measuring, I would guess those are 6332's. The pattern number may be on the pile side of the clip blade.

Thanks treefarmer. The one does have 6332 on it. You were 100 percent correct. The well used one has a 6 and a 3 on it but it's so scratched up you can't really make it out. I dont want to get rid of the 2 case knives but I was wondering if anyone knew how much they were worth. Especially the kinfolks remake

I wouldn’t plan to finance a vacation on them. The Kinfolks stockman and the 1978 6332 both appear to be in good condition so I’d guess them to be worth about $60-$75 each. The best guide to current value is an advanced search on eBay for sold listings of the same knife or as near to it as you can find. Look for knives the same age and same condition as your knife.

The well used knife doesn’t have any collector value in its condition but since it’s a family heirloom, to you it’s priceless.

Looking at the latest picture of the dinged up knife, it appears there is a row of dots under the USA. If that is what we are seeing, then it is an early 70's knife. If you can make out 10 dots it's a 1970, 9 dots would be 1971, 8- 72, etc...on down to the good one with 2 which is a 1978.
