All About Pocket Knives

Found a George Schrade bone handled double at an estate sale today.Not perfect(handles are though);the tab on the lock for the master blade is missing and for some reason the secondary blade won't close and lock.Possibly some crud under the spring;hard to see under it. Got it soaking in Break Free right now and will blow it out with compressed air tomorrow. For $20 I ain't complaining.

I would have given $20 for the bones, which is what, I guess, you did.
A great historical knife. I hope you can get it to work.

Thanks for noticing that! When I looked at the patent dates they weren't the same as my other doubles. Possibly an earlier knife.Have to do some research.

Are these Push Button knives a George Schrade design and then he sold the rights to Schrade Cut Co to manufacture them ?
