Case 5220 Peanut Question

I came across this case 5220 stag peanut at a price I could not resist. I realize it has been jacked with, just not sure to what extent and would appreciate some expert analysis. Main blade has been modified, which is odd because it doesn’t show signs of rust, pitting, etc. The stag does have some cracks near the pins. The springs do sit slightly proud when the main and the pen blades are open. Don’t think that is normal.

Looks Legit to Me . Nice Stag , with some Usage !!Looks to be a Cleaned up Master , But Original , Not An Expert But Just Reading the Knife in Comparison to the One I Own ,, I Like it None the Less

K.C. The Proud Springs Are Common on certain Patterns for some Reason ?

I agree with KleenCut61. Master is down a bit and cleaned up some but a pretty good looking knife. Just not fit up very well.

Okay, thanks so much for the responses! I feel better about the knife at this point. I think I will carry it some and put some honest patina on it. Thanks again.
