All About Pocket Knives

Guys I can't seem to find a lot about this knife. It appears to be a testes with natural bone but can't seem to find anything in that era with natural bone. Do you think it has been rehandled maybe original scales but I'm not sure any help would be greatly appreciated.

Appears to be a Case Tested 6202 1/2 that has been rehandled in smooth natural bone.

Case did not use any natural bone on the older knives, that have only used it in the modern era post 1990.

Would have originally had jigged green bone handles.

I am certainly no Case expert, but in looking at the pictures both blades have been cleaned and polished, but the pen blade has more pitting. Between that and the look of the pivot pin, I believe that one or both blades have been replaced.
While that might kill any collector value, it is not necessarily a bad thing. The knife may have all authentic parts (except the scales), just have been repaired. On the other hand, it may be cobbled from a variety of parts from different eras. A good Case guy could tell a lot more with the knife in hand.
Still, if the price were right, I would buy it.

I cannot help with it's gender issues, however, without a spey blade.
