Could this be a Remington. No blade markings I can find. Odd Main blade

Hawk, that’s a tough call as the knife could have some Remington parts. If truly a Remington the shield were more than likely be an Acorn, noting the leather punch. The leather punch does not appear to be a Remington blade. The knife body and handles could be Remington parts as could the master blade. Sorry there is no definitive answer but I believe the knife in the picture to be a Duke’s mixture......... Take care, John

Thank You Sir for your thoughts, I agree several things are just not right. Most Remingtons have the punch blade in the other end also.
Still a cool old knife, nice bone and real sharpe blades.

The bone jigging does not look like Remington, I like the slanted and pinched bolsters,usually found on a higher quality knife.

Looks like a Utica. They are the only company I know that put a match strike pull on their punch blades.

Not a Remington. Like Roger said. That punch isnt a Remington and the main blade isn't Remington either.

Don't know what it is but I like it, I do not think the knife has been apart, just a cool well made knife, maybe main blade been reshaped,
like the slant and pinched bolster, and great bone.

The punch and main have definitely been re-profiled. Still looking at this one . . .

It could just be the pictures. Is the blade bigger than the kick on the main blade? Your the owner and if you like it that's all that matters, I have many knives I think are cool and nobody else does. Thanks for showing us

keith- The blade is almost even with the kick, if anything the blade a tad bigger.
I did find an old picture of a Utica blade with the nail nick in that location, only one I have found
This blade may have been reshaped a very small amount at the point, over all the blade is full. I still have not been able to find a knife this size with the punch located in the same end with the main blade, always by it'self on the other end.
Would love to find a source of this quality of new bone handle material, the new stuff just does not have this look.

I have a few Remington knives with that blade configuration. As you stated, it's not very common.
