Praise Report

There are many of you who have prayed for my mom and dad over the past few years, and I sincerely want to thank all of you those prayers because our Lord is faithful and the answers the prayers of the saints!
For those of you will by not familiar with all of the issues my parents have had, there is another thread that goes back two years and throw some of the ups and downs of their help, especially my mother's health. viewtopic.php?f=68&t=56703
But for brevity's sake let me summarize that my mother's had leukemia for several years and she has been on hospice a couple of times. When I started the topic above, in April 2018, my brother and I thought the end was very near from mom. We didn't think that mom would make it to celebrate her 69th wedding anniversary.
Because of God's grace in answering all of your prayers and hundreds of others for my mom, she and dad celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary in June 2018. In June 2019 they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary and at the end of 2019 both mom and dad turned 90 years old.
I just got off the phone this evening with mom and dad and mom was feeling pretty rough, she fell on the kitchen and bruised her left thigh and hurt her side so she has an appointment with her chiropractor tomorrow. I prayed with her on the phone and she said she felt more relaxed and that she can sleep now. There have been plenty of tough times for both mom and dad in the last two years but there have been some awesome good times too, for both of them! They love having great grandkids living on their property with them, and they love to have people come visit them!
I wanted to thank all of you for your prayers and your faithfulness to remember my folks before the Lord. They're very happy, even though they they know their time on this earth is drawing to a close. They are still praising the Lord, enjoying life and enjoying one another's company, after 70 years! They both told me how they're looking forward to next month for their 71st wedding anniversary!
Often we pray for people and don't ever know the outcome, though I'm sure we will someday in heaven.
So I love it when I can share the answer to a prayer with the people who have been doing so much of the praying.
Please continue to pray that they would enjoy the remainder of their time here on this earth and that they would finish this race well.
Thank you my brothers, and may God bless you!
