All About Pocket Knives

Just picked up this Smith & Wesson "Sideburn" for a little under $30 (including tax & shipping).
Love the super smooth ball-bearing flipper action and thick blade. Razor sharp right out of the box.
Textured G-10 handle. Liner Lock. Closed length = 4 1/8"
A bit on the heavy side for my personal EDC preference, but all around a very sturdy and well-made knife.
I am very happy with it.

I like the lines of that one, nice blades shape and scales too.

I'm not a fan of S&W knives. I bought my sideburn as a beater knife and didn't have great expectations. However it came razor sharp out of the box, the action was great, blade was centered, fit and finish was good. I was very impressed.

The blade is so sturdy & thick, I find I use mine to do a fair amount of prying...it's like having a folding pry bar that also happens to have a sharpened edge. I don't carry mine in my pocket, but I use it at home quite a bit.
