38 Years

Celebrating 38 years with my one and only wife!

I met Becky back in the early fall of 1981. We were both in the Air Force stationed at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio.
I knew her three weeks when I asked her to marry me.
We got married April 7th the following year.
I was only 19 when we got married! Not the advice I would give to anyone!
But I knew. I had always believed my Lord and Father would let me know when the right one came along, and He did.

Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the LORD.

She has been and is a wonderful gift. A mighty woman of God... I couldn't ask for more.

I am a very blessed man.
Take care and God bless,

Steve

I was wiser and waited about 6 weeks before asking my girlfriend to be my wife. Happy for you and her. You found a good thing indeed. No picture?

Congrats, Steve! I'd suggest a nice dinner out BUT that doesn't seem to be an option right now.

Becky's RA is flaring up a bit right now. When she's feeling better, I'll get an aged porterhouse and throw it on the grill. Something we both love!!

Congrats Steve, that’s fantastic. Great Proverb to quote.

It’s been 46 years for me and Elaine. I was 20 when we got married and she was 18. I wouldn’t trade those 46 years for anything!

Congratulations to you and the Miss Becky, good stuff!
38 years ago Miss Joy and I had already logged in 15 years of wedded bliss, y'all are just gettin' started. :)
The Lord bless you with many more anniversaries.
