Camillus "Lucky Fisherman's" knife and Remington

It's been a while, since I've played with knives....The new pup is pretty high on the list. I do most of my work, out on the back porch. I didn't have a back yard fence (I do now), weather has to cooperate, holiday travel (what's travel...I seem to have forgotten). Took advantage of the good weather. It felt good to be back on the porch "playing". It really is therapeutic!
First, this "Fisherman's Luck" Camillus had a good inch of up/down play and a lot of side-side play. It was unusable. I fabricated a new "liner lock" (if that's even the right terminology for this type lock) from an old brass liner and placed new pins. It's in good shape now...just gotta be able to catch fish. 
Secondly, this old Remington came to me without any scales. It was my first time to work with mammoth ivory. It had it's challenges! The slabs were stabilized with acrylic; however, were not uniform in thickness. A piece chipped out on the shield side, back pin. It fit pretty well. I bonded it and refinished. I left the blades pretty much uncleaned. I liked the age on them.
It's not the most refined piece of "rehab-cutlery"....not gonna be a "safe queen"...I think it'll make an ok user.
