All About Pocket Knives

This month Ryan (Stanwade) has donated a Marble fixed-blade knife – believed to be over a century old! Thanks for your generosity Ryan Here's what you are playing for:

This is a special month not only because of the special fixed-blade Marbles knife that Stanwade (Ryan) has graciously donated but also because the information about the knife was gathered from a collaboration with fellow AAPK’er 1967redrider (John). With the information gleaned from these pictures it was mutually determined that this knife was manufactured between 1919 and 1923 although someone else may be able to shed another light on this honest-old-knife. Unfortunately, the original sheath is missing but the donor is confident that the winner will nonetheless thoroughly enjoy it!

Instructions for entering the giveaway...

Simply click here and select a number between 0 and 999.

Please note you will now have up to 6:00 PM Eastern Time to pick a number on the day of the drawing not a day before like previous drawings!

You will have until April 30th (6:00 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number. After this time, an official final list of the entrants will be established based on individual date and time entries. The winner will be determined by the Illinois State Lottery evening pick three drawing on April 30th. The individual closest to the selected number without going over will win. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:

You must be 18 years of age or older to play. The winner will be sent an AAPK PM after the drawing and will have 10 days to respond with your contact information and shipping address. If you do not respond within the allotted time, the knife will be given to the next closest winner on the list without going over.

WOW, that sure would look cool hanging on the belt, hunting with one of my Savage 1899's with a Marbles tang sight. Our Savage club is having a club get together across the street from the Marbles Museum, if it doesn't get cancelled. Scheduled for Memorial day week end. I actually have a 1919 Savage 250-3000.
