The Governor of Mississippi had just issued a "shelter-in-place" order for the citizens in Lauderdale County, MS (my County)....
In his statement, just released, he says that a local nursing home (going nameless at this time) has confirmed several new cases of Covid 19.

Y'all..... this is serious!
If there is a bunch of confirmed cases in a nursing Home..... then these residents could start getting very sick and even die SOON. I know there isn't enough respirators in this town to care for a big outbreak.
This is scary....
The local news may tell more at 5:00 today but this is all I know right now.

SO.... please pray specifically for the residents of this nursing home here in our county. God knows the situation.

Heavenly Father.... These elderly people in this nursing home need your comfort. I know they have been advised of their situation and they are scared. Please let them feel your presence around them. Let them know YOU are in charge. Give them the assurance that comfort and healing are on the way from Heaven. Bless all health care workers who are responding to this situation. Please give them boldness and compassion as they care for these your ailing children Heavenly Father.

67 here in the Wayne C C are infected of those that have gotten test results back. Been no visitors since March 23. 30 staff and 36 patients and all the tests are not back.

Daddy’s sister, my Aunt is one of them. I have taken offense with those who haven’t treated this as serious from the onset, it seems to me the staff and management there haven’t.

I agree a nursing home in Anderson, Indiana (near me) has been on the national news for their treatment of the residents. I don't know what safeguards are in place for elderly there but they are in need of prayer. It looks to me as if the worst place an old person could be right now is in a nursing home.

We have had cases of covid show up in 4 nursing homes here now. The elderly and infirm are the ones most at risk.

The fruit cakes around here are STILL not taking this seriously. The governor has said, if everyone doesn't get on board, we will be last to recover.
Looks like a L...O...N...G road ahead around here.

If this is a dress rehearsal for the end times, no wonder there will be people crying out for the rocks to fall on them.
