Looks like "she was rode hard and put away wet" more than once. That should be a crime.

I like old knives with "character". I grew up with pocket knives on the farm and ranch and were considered "tools". Who knows what the poor ole case has been through. I have used knives to clean battery cables, pick out rocks from horses hooves, make tooth picks and etc. If your miles from your tool box, you make do with what you have and that is a pocket knife most of the time. I do not like to see anything abused, but once in a while it will happen. We will never know the "rest of the story", but it survived. Thanks for showing it.

. . . Probably some old codger's favorite EDC, got dropped by the grandkids one Christmas onto the paved driveway, whittled many toothpicks, cut it's fair share of burrs out of the dog's hair each Summer, plenty of pocket time, opened many letters, peeled it's weight 1,000 times over in fruit and cut a few splinters out of various fingers. Am I close???

I'll have to agree with everyone who recognizes this one for what it is, a tool. If I'm seein' this one right, it appears to be delrin handled, just a tough old knife, well used and then the other one is a real looker!
