Found this posted on GEC website just now.
I hope this doesn't go on to the point of permanent damage to GEC or their employees.

Corso, Great Eastern Cutlery, aka GEC, is a cutlery manufacturer, not an on-line company. They have a factory, although a small one, with employees working there. ::tu::

Kabar is also shut down with respect to shipping orders due to the mandatory PAUSE order signed by Gov. Cuomo Friday.

Kabar said that they would still be fullfilling online orders, they just wouldn't be shipping anything out until the order is lifted. Their offices are closed to all non-Kabar visitors.

I was more thinking of the purchase process

So just ship on to retailers who sell online - the economy needs to keep on rolling or things could get a lot worst...

They can't ship knives when they can't work to make them.

Great Eastern is shut down due to a statewide order. To date there is not a single case of the virus reported in the county where they are located.
