Uncle Henry peanut rebladed

Well, it has been several weeks since I got any "shop time", so I was happy when a Deacon at my church asked me to replace a blade in his Uncle Henry peanut.
Easy-peasey.

I forgot to take a good "before" picture, but here it is in progress. The Main was tipped pretty good.

The model number on the old blade looks like "353UH". I have not learned any Schrade model numbers yet! The replacement blade is marked "340T", but it is essentially the same blade.

I only drilled and repinned the pivot end. I left the Swinden key intact on the rear bolster. That just makes for one less thing for me to potentially mess up during the process!

It was a straightforward, and basically unimpressive job, but it was fun to be out in the shop again!

Great job Reverand ::nod::
It looks as if you did a bit more than just replace a blade.

Great job Rev!!
That is a true SAVE for that knife! It sure is a beauty now!
Good ole Schrade used the same blades with different tang stamps in their knife lines, Uncle Henry and Old Timer.
You sure made a nice user out of that basket case!

2 thumbs up!!
