National Day Of Prayer March 15, 2020

President Trump has called for tomorrow, March 15, to be a national day of prayer. In light of the ongoing Corona Virus crisis, I think he has taken a very prudent action and one that I would encourage all believers to be a part of.

2nd Chronicles 7:14

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Thanks for posting this, philco. ::tu::
I know it probably gets hung in some folks craw, mentioning a national day of prayer but I was encouraged this morning listening to the owner of the Orlando Magic basketball team. Two times in his interview concerning the virus and all the sports that are being effected he said, "The Lord is still in control". A national day of prayer will be a good thing.

Along with the National Day of Prayer, I feel led to provide this link to an article where the author conveys very good thoughts on how Christians should give thought to how they can or should contend with the coronavirus threat. For all those who choose to read, I trust you will be blessed. ::pray::

I woke up this morning and had a message from an ebay buyer saying that he found out yesterday that they were cutting his hours to 20 per week and politely asking to cancel his purchase. I have this overwhelming feeling that we are just at the cusp of this event for so many people. It may be weeks or months before the devastation can be calculated. My plan is to stop what I'm doing today and do at least one thing for a person that is less fortunate than me and continue to do so until the storm is over.
