Here is another find that I’m trying to identify. Antique knife and fork set with original case. The knife blade is marked with either F. Rex or E. Rex. Any one know this maker?

I have not seen a Serving/Carving set like this before. I think it likely is NOT British. Looks more like old German or Nixdorf Austria origin ?

Bet it's E for Edward Rex when he was King of England. I think there should be a crown stamped with it though.

It is possible that this set is German based on the case inscription.

Yes, "von" is German for "of" or "from".
If this is the original case, which it looks to be, then this carving set is of German origin (to include Nixdorf).
