My "Go-To" Knife...

I have many different brands of knives: Case-Buck-Moore Maker-GEC-Bark River-TOPS-Hess-Kershaw, etc. But in my garage, the knife I depend on the most is this one. A cheap plastic handled knife, the kind you'd find in a souvenir shop for $4.99 at any and all tourist traps. A friend gave this to me many years ago after he went to Alaska.
The fit and finish are horrendous, and when fully open, the blade wobbles like someone that just drank 3 pints of Jack Daniels. And for whatever reason, this is my go-to knife for all things "garage". Go figure...

Is that wobbly blade a danger to use? (cut yourself ) I have one of my dad's old Army knife and I use
it for only certain uses since it also has a wobble. (eg I don't use it to cut carpet, cardboard boxes,
etc). I never consider it my "go to" knife.

Well Bob, I just used that analogy for "Dramatic Effect", but it does wobble a bit more than I'm used to. I do thank you for your concern though.

Yep...I have several 'off the wall' styled knives that work very well for odd jobs and a quick grab to get the job done. These blades take a nice edge when needed and keeps it, if not overly abused. If the knife gets the job done, then it's a serviceable tool.

I’d be okay with it except for that blade wobble. Life's too short for that.

I have several "beaters", in strategic locations. At least yours has a connection to a friend.

I’m with Dogg on this one - I only carry high quality knives (Buck, Case, Schrade USA) and use them for the job at hand. (Not intended as a put down or condescending remark - just my way of doing things). OH
