This month Roger (Peanut740) has donated a E. Bruckmann Scout knife – almost a century old!. Thanks for your generosity Roger Here's what you are playing for:

Ernst Bruckmann was in business from 1891-1956. They operated in the twin cities of Ohligs-Solingen Germany. Roger believes this unofficial Scout knife dates to the 1930s. The knife measures 3 5/8" closed and has the typical main spear blade, cap lifter, can opener and awl. Blades are tight and in unused condition considering its age. This model has a nickel silver banner shield with BOY SCOUT and an unused bail.

Instructions for entering the giveaway...

Simply click here and select a number between 0 and 999.

Please note you will now have up to 6:00 PM Eastern Time to pick a number on the day of the drawing not a day before like previous drawings!

You will have until March 31st (6:00 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number. After this time, an official "Final List" of the entrants will be posted in this thread. The winner will be determined by the Illinois State Lottery evening pick three drawing on March 31st. The individual closest to the selected number without going over will win. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:

You must be 18 years of age or older to play. The winner will be sent an AAPK PM after the drawing and will have 10 days to respond with your contact information and shipping address. If you do not respond within the allotted time, the knife will be given to the next closest winner on the list without going over.

Congratulations to Log Cabin Knives whose pick of #143 was the closest to last nights lottery number pick of #148 without going over. A PM has been sent and hopefully the prize will be claimed shortly. Thank you to the 98 participants who picked their number before the 6pm deadline and regrets to the 2 that missed the deadline. A special thank-you to our friend and site-owner Bryan Sanders for adding a date and time stamp to each entry to eliminate the manual step of posting the final list of entrants. This makes the monthly giveaway a bit simpler to operate and that's certainly moving in the right direction .
