All About Pocket Knives

Sorting through and re-photographing my accumulation of knives I thought I would post up some Camillus knives for your viewing pleasure.I may have posted some of these before and if I have please forgive me;I am,"chronologically-challenged".
The pics of the #35 trapper were before and after shots.The celluloid handles had degraded badly so I made some out of wood and jigged them. I think it was only my second re-handle so the work isn't the greatest but it is functional again.

The coffin handle is a bit unusual.
The #86 is a reject that somehow escaped the factory.NOTHING is right about this knife!
The Geo.Washington knife without the signature is a bit unusual.
The 3 blade with the secondary file blade is kind of strange.
The ebony handled jack has a curved stamp on the secondary blade.

Welllll..... I sure 'nuff like those!

Fore and out The last knife is a Sword Brand that has very unusual handles.They are celluloid with pieces of pearl and abalone floating inside them.I showed different views to try and capture the brilliance.

Great collection, knife7! I have two of those little George Washington knives in about the same condition. The second pruner from the top- does it have a liner-lock? I have one that does in brass, hard to tell from your picture at that angle and blade position.

Thanks for the kind words. No;it does not have a liner lock.

Ray, the trapper you re-handled with jigged wood looks so good i would not have thought the handles are replacement. Your jigging looks 100% authentic vintage professional jigging. I don't know how you did it, but you did a most professional job.
I see fewer new in the box or never used Camillus knives than i do Schrade knives. The Camillus knives i see or have seen are almost always used examples.
Do you find the same: never used Camillus knives are more rare than never used Schrade knives ?

Thanks for the kind words Roland;actually if you look closely there is too much of a gap at the bolster.The jigging is really simple to do: I use a small ball end mill that came in a Dremel clone grinder. I hold the knife flat on a surface and bring in the tool parallel to the surface.Makes it easier to control.I do them in rows and once you get going it takes no time at all.If you lay one end of the tool on the surface you can control the depth really easy.
I rarely find unused knives so I couldn't comment on the Schrade vs Camillus one way or another.
