Pattern-1888 Bayonet

Here is my British Pattern-1888 Bayonet and scabbard of unknown origin ("Pattern-1903 Type"?). This bayonet was for the Lee-Metford and Early Lee-Enfield Rifles (the "Long Lee-Enfield Rifle" not the later "SMLE" (or No.1 Mk.III or No.1 Mk.III* after 1926).
This particular bayonet was made at Enfield in Oct. 1897.

Hummmm........... I like it.
I will have to dig out my old bayonet. I can't remember what it is.
