Help with identifying knife

Post by Legarre84 »

I found this knife going through knife collection I have acquired and the tang stamp looks to be queen but I’m not sure. Can anyone help identify the knife and the style or year made? Thanks in advance.

It is made by Ithaca Guns Works under the name Track knives(the emblem is a graphic paw print. There should be a serial number on it somewhere(usually on the side opposite the emblem)that was etched with a pantograph. They were made in limited numbers and are usually first quality. I have a Track folder that I bought many years ago and it is a great knife.
EDIT: They were made in the 1970's.

Even though your question has been answered, here is a picture of the Queen tang stamps with dates.
