What do you think of the new Kershaw traditionals?

All are made in China, with smooth G10 scales and 7CR17MOV steel. I tend to really like "modern traditionals" that are classic patterns with modern materials like G10 or carbon fiber. The price is not too bad, cheaper than Case G10, but higher than Rough Ryder G10.

I guess I'll find out what I think. I just "pre-ordered" one of the Gadsen Mini-Trappers (3.5" closed) at Blade HQ. They are not available yet but you reserve one for an immediate payment of $5.00 and then they charge the remainder of the price plus shipping when they get them in and it ships. Cheaper than SMKW and the shipping was only $2.99 but they do charge sales tax which is $1.56. All total it came to $26.50 and a wait time known only to God.

Wasn't trying to be first. It was just "See knife", "Want knife", "Buy knife". My mind doesn't stray too far off the beaten path.

My favorite is the Culpepper. Given with a 3.25" blade, it's already over the UK limit, I kinda wish it had a linerlock. But, I'll see when I get one, hopefully the spring tension is enough to where one isn't needed.

It ticks all the boxes of a perfectly functional mid-size folding knife. Everything is nicely tuned up, lined up and flush; blades centered, relatively smooth run-up to the back spring, razor sharp edges, smooth walk and snappy talk (no half-stops), perfect nail nick placement on the clip master blade, low ricasso corners when closed. It's clearly a 'working knife' (more than a collectible), and as such, I have no complaints.

The one I posted above is the one I received. Like ~Q~, I have no complaints.
