Sailor's Knife

I just acquired this fine example of the Admiralty Pattern 301 knife. This pattern first appeared circa 1910 and replaced the old, square-ended, single blade knife in the British Navy. This pattern was in service during WW1. This example was made by Joseph Allen & Sons, Sheffield. It is almost 5 inches long, not including the bail, and very heavy.

Nice knife shown here. Just fantastic and I like it. I like it a lot.
