lenny, jonet may be right but I believe it's bone. because what i see is
a circle around the case stamped on the handle, all the bone I.Ve fooled
with. Take another pic of tang on front handles. You have a keeper
there,anyway you go!!!

great looking knife there lenny. they are bone handles and youre probably looking at between 125-150.00 ball park on ebay if its in near to mint condition.

some case delrin had the circle in oval stamp in the 60s/70s. does the handle material have pores(viens) on the surface? check the edges of the handles. it's a nice knife, bone or delrin.

Definitely bone.....dark bone but definitely bone, even ignoring the shield and just looking at the handle material.
AND....Case used the shields without the oval around Case on delrin and composition knives starting in 1974. You will see a few 1973 knives with the non-oval shields since they may have been using up 1973 stamped blades in 74.
But I have only in my 35 years of collecting ever seen ONE 1974 delrin knife that had the oval around CASE on the shield, and I have NEVER seen one delrin knife later than 74 with the oval.

From all the pictures and comments seems like a nice score. The ebay seller was real honest and the original description not accurate (bad in his favor) was fixed as soon as he noticed. I don't know if I should say his user name but I'm very please with his customer support.
