All About Pocket Knives

I Haven't seen this movie... yet, but could it dampen or increase this sales of knives?? What do you think? Might be a fun topic!

Who knows. To me I feel the film industry is producing quite a few excessively violent films these days.

I was flipping through the TV the other day (the Hitman's Bodyguard, I think), and saw one guy stab another guy with not a large Rambo knife, but a rather small Wenger Swiss Army Knife. This is when things start to get a bit ridiculous. SAKs are NOT weapons--I feel the media is trying to influence people to want to think even small pocketknives are weapons. Honestly, my opinion with the increase in violent films is solely to try to convince everyone to be anti-gun and anti-knife.

I seriously doubt it. I saw the movie - highly recommend it. However there is no mention of knives in the movie. None. There are numerous knives displayed in the background in several scenes, and a knife was used in the death of the family patriarch.

The guy was apparently a knife collector (because of all the knives in his house) but no mention is ever made of that or the reason for there being so many knives. His highly dysfunctional family and their often caustic, sharp, (and humorous) cutting remarks aimed at each other makes the title a "double entendre" . The family has their "knives out" against one another.

Good movie. It's a clever "who done it" mystery. Go see it.

The OP asks whether this particular film might change public perception re: knives. IMHO, no.
It is an « Agatha Christie » style story. A « Who done it? » Without spoiling a good movie... let’s just say there are more knives displayed as art than weapons. The most cutting thing in the movie was the vitriol between characters. I enjoyed the story and thought the film worth seeing, although I did go on half price Tuesday.

It was an entertaining movie.

I watched this movie Knives Out and compared them with animal at https://filmy4wapin.net/action-movies which is really evenly matched because both have attractive action scenes

Ever watch" Machete"? Ive watched it a couple times. not that it is that good, but???
