Oh my goodness Scott, I've never even seen a picture of a knife like that. What time frame do you think they were made?

The "slide button" is to lock the blade in a closed position so that the blade cannot be accidentally opened. Moving the button in the other direction frees the activation and allows the blade to be activated.Steve Warden wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 2:59 pm Cool!

I have a orange parachute knife with the same slider button.
It's just a safety mechanism.
