Is there any tang charts for dating this brand? I picked up a copper body, key chain type,of knive from them. Very interested in finding out more about it, and pricing in general. Thank you in advance. Greg

Welcome to AAPK. I am not aware of any tang stamp charts or how to tell their age, but I’m not a Wadsworth expert either. Wadsworth isn’t a highly collected brand so from what I’ve seen the values aren’t high relative to some other widely collected brands. There are several collectors of German brands (Wadsworth were made in Germany). Here’s a post from one such person.

You can find more using the AAPK search function which you’ll find under “Quick links” on the upper left of the page here. Just click on it, scroll down to “Search”, click on it and enter Wadsworth on the form. You can get an idea of values by doing an advanced search on eBay for sold listings of Wadsworth knives. Probably won’t find your exact knife but you’ll find others and what they sold for which will give you a range of comparable values.
A picture of your knife would be nice. We like pictures here!

Thanks Ken. Nice welcome. Been wanting to join. I'm addicted to restoring vintage pocket knives, while I watch tv. I'll send you a pic of my collection. It's mounted on my home made display of pegboard, and frames. Will do,what you suggested. Thank you, Greg
