This month Phillip (Treefarmer) has donated a very unique Case medium stockman #5318SHSPSS from the millennium year 2000. Thanks for your generosity Phillip Here's what you are playing for:

There’s nothing like the look and feel of a Case Genuine Stag knife, which is why so many are passed down from generation to generation. This month's giveaway features a factory error 5318SHSPSS from the millennium year 2000. Phillip (treefarmer) has graciously donated a medium stockman, 3-1/2" closed with genuine prime stag, stainless steel clip, sheepsfoot, and spey blades and nickel silver bolsters embellished with the Case logo. The covers are smooth bone with a bit of burnt color. The box is a bit shop worn but has the paperwork and the wrapper. The professional opinion rendered from the pictures by Steve Pfeiffer (knifeaholic), our resident Case subject matter expert, is that the knife looks like a standard production Case 5318 SH SP SS, genuine stag handled medium stockman and the product code 00179 on the box corresponds to that knife. The handles do appear to be genuine stag but with the pattern number stamp of 6318, it is believed to be a true factory error.

Instructions for entering the giveaway...

Please note you will now have up to 6:00 PM Eastern Time to pick a number on the day of the drawing not a day before like previous drawings!

You will have until January 31st (6:00 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number. After this time, an official "Final List" of the entrants will be posted in this thread. The winner will be determined by the Illinois State Lottery evening pick three drawing on January 31st. The individual closest to the selected number without going over will win. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:

You must be 18 years of age or older to play. The winner will be sent an AAPK PM after the drawing and will have 10 days to respond with your contact information and shipping address. If you do not respond within the allotted time, the knife will be given to the next closest winner on the list without going over.
