Prayer partners I need you again. I just opened a holiday letter from a long time Navy friend and in it he was letting everyone know that his wife Mary was dying of lung disease. She is now on home hospice and only has days to live.
I first met Lou and Mary in 1975 in San Diego, CA and we have keep up with each other all those years. Lou and I sailed the South Pacific and the Far East together on the USS Constellation. I've never seen a couple that were so in love and so devoted to one another as these two have been.
We are praying that Mary will make it past Christmas and into the new year. Most of all we pray that her passing will be peaceful and without pain.
Please pray for Mary Baer and my friend and shipmate Lou Baer.
