Loss of 2 grandchildren

Prayer Partners this is a hard one because it's close to home. A very sweet and faithful man in our church, Wes, called our prayer chain on Monday evening stating 2 of his grandchildren were killed in an auto accident on their way back to school in College Station, TX. This is devastating to his family and a great many of friends. Please take just one moment of your day and life up this man and his family to our Heavenly Father that they might be comforted. There is no way we can know the reason for it, but only know that all things are in God's hand and in His perfect timing.
Thank you all and God's blessing on you.

This is terrible, sorry to be reading this. I don't think there could be anything worse than losing a child.

David, I can't even begin to imagine how this would feel. I will pray for comfort for all involved in this tragedy.

Father, I pray You will bless Wes, his family and his friends with Your comfort and encouragement as they mourn the loss of his grandchildren. The "why" is in Your hands, so we hold Your promise that all things work together for good. Bless them, Lord, for Your glory. In Jesus's name. Amen

Abba, we lift up Wes, his family and friends, and we ask that your grace and peace be given to each one of them. I also pray that You would send Your Comforter to everyone touched by this tragic accident.
Father, a tragedy such as this can shake a person's faith or it can make it much stronger. We ask that you will greatly strengthen the faith of everyone effected by this event, that they may truly see how "All things work together to the good of those who love the Lord..."
I thank You that You are God and You have ability to use this tragedy for good and You have promised You will do exactly that if we allow You to work. I thank You for your love for each of us and that the death of these two beloved grandchildren will not escape Your notice.
Bless, strengthen and comfort Wes and his family.
We give You all the praise and glory Lord!
In the blessed name of Jesus we pray,
Amen.

I read about this tragic accident on an Aggie related FB group and saw a brief news report on a B-CS TV station. The Aggie community is shocked over this event.
Their mother is a professor at the Mays Business School at A&M.
The young people were on Highway 6 and were rear ended by an SUV. This collision shoved them into the opposing lane of traffic where they were struck by another vehicle, resulting in their deaths. Additional details have not yet been made available.

I will add an AMEN to Dale's very thoughtful and heartfelt prayer, as I lift up this family in additional prayer and concern. May God be with them in their continuing days of needful Grace and healing.

I am offering my prayers and would also like to associate mine with others, especially Orvet's prayer of special depth and clarity in this tragedy.

As acute as the pain was when my mother died, it can't hold a candle to something like this.

Update: From our church no one has been able to contact the Grandfather or any other family. Their voicemails are full and they are not communicating with anyone that we know of yet. I have no idea how any of these good folks are doing in their suffering right now. I just pray that God's Holy Spirit will minister and comfort them.

My word, how terrible, we will ask for Gods blessings for the family.

I just read on my phone that two people were killed in my neighborhood, a truck rolled over and two people were ejected and died at the scene, I have no idea who they were but will be praying for their loveones. There was one survivor will pray for their recovery.

UPDATE: This will probably be my last entry on this, because I have no first hand knowledge. My Pastor says of course the whole family is still grieving. The Grandparents are taking it very hard. He says of all people the father has been a testament to strength and to God's sovereignty in this situation. Just continue to pray for the Sanders family for God to lead them through this and through the holidays.
