New 2020 Case Knife

Post by srm65 »

I am looking to buy the new Case 2020 Knives for Christmas presents. My local Case dealer don't have them in stock yet, neither does Smokey Mountain. If anyone knows where they can be purchased, I would appreciate it.

Thank you

Give Shepherd Hills a call and see what they say;

You can Call and talk with us 7 days a week
from 8:00 AM till 8:00 PM central time.

Phone: 1-800-727-4643 Or 1-888-4CASE XX
Fax: 1-417-532-6044

They have 2020 Calendar knives but you would probably need to make sure they have the 2020 tang stamps.

srm65,
Your question got me to thinking about when a manufacturer actually might change the tang stamp? The 2020 cars and trucks are probably out, I wonder how that really works? All of the new Case knives I have obtained that came with a box have the month and year of Mfg. on the box. ::hmm::

I doubt you’ll see any Case knives with a 2020 tang stamp before the first of the year. I say this because Case typically ships some yearly “transition” knives (special shields or blade embellishments) early in the new year, and their marketing department ballyhoos them. I suspect you’ll see them offered from the usual suspects (SHC and SMKW).

There may be some with a 2019 stamp still coming out into 2020 as old inventory is used up, even though the manufacture date on the box is 2020.
