I was going through some old knife photos and stumbled across pix of this knife. These photos were posted on Blade Forum back in 2009. The knife belongs to a friend, and the pictures were taken at a knife club meeting. They are not the best photos but I feel are worthy of posting here on AAPK.
The knife is 3 5/8" closed, note the file is stamped J Ward & Co. Levine suggested NYK might have had the files made by Ward?
If anyone else has any images of NYK Mattewan knives, please post them here.

Very cool pics Barry. Thanks for posting. Looks very English to me as well. Nor sure you are going to get many pics posted here. These Mattawan knives are really really scarce. That is the third one I’ve seen. Had a chance to handle a pruner once. Most people have never even seen one. Actually many people are unaware NYK started in Mattawan. The town itself has changed names to Beacon. Aside from these few examples it’s like it never existed.
