All About Pocket Knives

I would be grateful for your prayers for my best friend Renn and his wife Mary. I met Renn in OCS at Ft.Knox. We were both assigned to the same tank battalion in Germany, each received our company commands there. He left the Army after two years; I stayed another three but we remained in touch. He became a highly successful lawyer on the east coast heading up a large law firm he founded. Whenever a judge got in legal trouble, Renn was the lawyer often sought out. He even solved a murder case that had been ruled an accident resulting in prosecution. He had a wonderful mind and a kindly spirit.

This afternoon I received a call from Mary who confirmed my fears that he had descended into dementia. I won't go into details. They are too sad. It is very hard to accept that his superlative mind has gone dark. I ask your prayers for him and for his wife as they deal with this heavy burden. Many thanks.

Garry, I will be praying for them and you. I know the heart ache that everyone involved will be going through and it’s tough. I pray for peace and joy through the trials. For patience and endurance.

Done! My daddy has the very early stages of dimentia and although he still functions more or less ok, it’sa terrible thing to watch. Prayers for them.

Garry our family has been down this road with a loved one and all I can advise is put it all in the hands of God. I lift up you, Renn and Mary in prayer to our Heavenly Father that He may show you His Love, His perfect peace and comfort. This will be a hard journey for everyone, take God's hand and let Him lead everyone through it.

Sorry to read about your friend. It's got to be extra hard on his wife. My prayers and thoughts are with your friend and his family through their coming struggle.
