New Remington history discovered

There is a Pal scout knife on Ebay and the seller says it was most likely made by Remington for Pal. So me being a person who is always looking for new information about Remington I asked the seller this question.

Should be an interesting book.

The seller has an AAPK store, Nutmeg State knives. He is known locally to be a blade swapper and has sold some cobbled knives on ebay. I have no idea of what he is talking about on the ebay exchange. He should know well that Pal bought Remington and used leftover parts and had all the machinery to produce knives that look exactly like Remingtons. He does buy and sell decent knives too, hopefully his memory isn't having problems.

Hmm, if I have any questions on Remingtons, I ask espn77 - and I think I'll stick with that strategy... :D

The knife is a real Pal knife. Could have some leftover parts from Remington but to claim that Remington made it for Pal would be very bazaar since, like Gene said, Remington sold out to Pal.

I'm not buying that seller's story nor would I buy any knives from him. Dealt with him once - which was one time too many. ::facepalm:: As stated he does sell some legit knives too, but caveat emptor!

It would be in the fiction section at the library. He has sold fakes on EBay for many years. ::td:: ::td::

A few years back on Nutmeg State Knives he had listed some small Chinese made Schrade automatics for over a hundred dollars each. I hade just purchased 2 of them for only $15 ea and received a free hat. I don't remember what website I purchased from. I posted about them on AAPK he promptly took his down.
I can't find my original post.

This guy tried to sell me a bill of goods on an eBay knife a few years ago. He has posted lots of fantasy stuff since. Had not seen him posting in quite a while but I only watch rems.

For sure, Keith has helped me quite a bit and I've learned a lot from him and his posts.

Why is he still allowed to have a store on AAPK if he sells bad knives??
