Just wanted to know if you you all could give me a history on the 700 series.
What year did each knife start
And when, if they did, discontinue.

701 - Production began in 1980. Finished knives began shipping in March 1981.
703 - Production began in mid 1979. Finished knives began shipping in December 1979.
704 - Unsure about this one. Removed from the catalog in 1999.
705 - Production began in 1980. Finished knives began shipping in May 1981.
709 - Production began in 1980. Finished knives began shipping in September 1981.
The entire series had been discontinued after 2001 or early 2002.
