That would probably help a lot of people here that want to add an avatar to their user name. ::tu::

Maximum dimensions for avatars on this forum are 125 X 125 Pixels.

When I resize my avatar photos I type 125 in the "Horizontal" box and let the computer determine the "Vertical" setting. My current avatar is 125 X 93 pixels.

I don't know if that's the best way to do it but that's how I do it.

you can re-size using Microsoft Paint. I have used free IrfanView for years.

Can anyone tell me how to resize on an Apple product? I have tried to load an avatar that I would like to use many times over the past year and a half and it always tells me the file is too big. All I can figure out to do is reduce the resolution to the smallest amount and that still doesn’t work. Maybe size is the issue?

Hey Mark. Do you have a "Photo Editor"? Apple should have an app for that. I use Microsofts, when you change pic size it makes a copy of the changed photo, leaving the original intact.
