Tomato vs. Tomato

I recently picked up a Tango Tomato 48 from Kennedy while at the GEC Rendezvous a few weeks ago. Today, after picking a few tomatoes from the garden I noticed how much they looked like my new treasure. I think GEC nailed it. What do you think?

Thanks FRJ, I was amazed at how close in color they were. Even the little bit of "yellow" color matched pretty darn well.

Set that knife among a whole lot of tomatoes and see how long it takes someone to spot it. Bet it would take a while!

I'm a huge 48 fan but I've never seen that particular variation. Or at least I don't remember seeing it. A little research shows that I just don't remember it. They used the same handles on the 53 Furtaker Trapper but those clever devils called it "Burnt Sky". Comparison shows it is actually a little different. 53 Furtaker is a little lighter background and the "veins" are a lighter color.
That was a great pickup!!

Wait, which one's the knife, and which one's the tomato? I can't tell.

Love it, that color looks great. Outstanding knife. Now if they would make one with those colored handles and a tomato shield, that would be right up my alley. They did put a banana shield on the rotten banana bone, so it's not outside the realm of possibility!

They both look ripe and ready for picking.

I have never seen that Handle material configuration before. ( I Would have remembered it.)
Both should be entered in your State Fair.
