Opinions on Case Richard Petty Knives

I think I has posted these knives on a couple boards but having a hard time getting any feedback on them. I may even have posted them here a year ago.

My brother-in-law purchased most of his Case Classic collection from a Tony Briley of Briley Cutlery in the early 90's. Here is a set of 2 knives that appear to possibly be prototypes. There is a letter to Mr. Briley with the knives that looks like it is from the company that represented Petty at the time and other drivers as far as promotional stuff. Also is a sticky note from Briley to my brother-in-law asking him if wanted to purchase one of the knives. Both have serial number 001 on the bolsters and 43 on the other end which I am going to assume is Petty's car number.

I am wondering if they would be very collectable. I plan to put them up for sale at some time.

Can't help with the great knives, but 43 was Richard Petty's car number.

I actualy got to meet the "King" once at Indianapolis motor Speedway twenty odd years ago. Sat down and had a plate of ribs with him, he is areal down to earth guy.
One of those knives would look good in my display case with some of the stuff he signed for me!

Well no help from me other than you have a good pice of history there.

In my book he earned the title KING.

Rustle47 if you look again at the blades you will see the # 43 ... ::nod::

Perhaps you could use the glasses that Sauconian has on...
